All four award-winning UCS Marching Bands will be presenting the annual Band-A-Rama at 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 1 at Stevenson High School’s Runkel Field, 39701 Dodge Park Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48313

Band-A-Rama showcases the district’s talented high school musicians in truly remarkable field performances.

“We welcome UCS families and the entire community to this entertaining event,” said Dr. Christine Johns.  “It is a wonderful opportunity to hear talented students from all four comprehensive high schools perform on a single field.”

Ticket proceeds benefit the Louis Gonda Memorial Music Scholarship to fund opportunities for UCS band students to further their music education.  Over the years, the Gonda Fund has enabled hundreds of students to attend music camps, take private lessons or otherwise enrich their music study.

Tickets are $5 for adults and high school students with junior high school and younger students having free admission. Tickets are available at the entrance and go towards music scholarships for band students.

All four high school bands - will perform their half-time shows.

•             Chieftain Marching Band – A Night On Broadway

•             Falcon Marching Band – Welcome To The Jungle

•             Eagle Marching Band – 2016: In Memoriam

•             Titan Marching Band – Wizards & Magic
