More About Us
  • Burr recognized by the Michigan Department of Education as a ق│œMichigan Reward School" for improvement in student achievement.
  • Students continue to be provided with support programs during and after school hours. Homework Club and Study Smart provide extra help for students.
  • PTA provides our students with many educational advantages and various family activities throughout the school year.
  • The Burr Elementary Historical Society has applied for Burr to be recognized as a historical site. In 1997, a replica of a one-room schoolhouse, constructed from original bricks used by the Burr family, was built near the front entrance. This schoolhouse is also a time capsule. In 1999 the area in front of the schoolhouse was paved with engraved patio bricks honoring the staff of yesterday and today.
