Welcome to Schuchard Elementary School. We serve 620 students in Kindergarten through sixth grade, plus classes for preschool and nursery age children.

Our Mission:

Schuchard Elementary School will work with our community to provide opportunities for students to become actively engaged life-long learners who have the ability to positively impact our society.

  • Schuchard's diverse student population represents over 40 different countries.
  • Schuchard's 4th grade MEAP scores rose 14% in math and 19% in reading this year.
  • 123 Schuchard students participated in the principal's reading challenge over the summer, and read for a total of 27,718 minutes.
  • 70% of Schuchard's teaching staff has a master's degree or higher.
  • Schuchard collected over $2000 for the American Red Cross Tragedy Relief Fund.
  • Four of Schuchard's students won a gold medal in the Social Studies Olympiad Drama Event.
  • Schuchard is currently working in its first year of NCA accreditation.
