  • West Utica continues to be recognized as a Blue Ribbon Exemplary School by the Michigan Department of Education.
  • West Utica was honored for achieving Michigan Green Schools certification by the Macomb County Board of Commissioners in April 2010.
  • Our annual Veterans' Day Assembly continues to foster growth in the areas of self-esteem, pride and core democratic values of our community and our country.
  • West Utica applied for, and was selected to be part of, the Michigan Integrated Behavior and Learning Support Initiative (MiBLSi) project for a five year period.
  • In an effort to reinforce positive choices, the West Utica staff participates in a school-wide student initiative, Positive Behavior Support (PBS).
  • In an effort to develop citizenship, responsibility, and many other Success Skills, students participate in service learning activities throughout their education at West Utica.
  • West Utica is fortunate to have several local businesses support the vision/mission of our school.
