Summer Pathways

A “summer math packet” has been created for students that have accepted the challenge to try an advanced math course in the fall.   These students could benefit from knowing what prerequisite skills are required and having access to materials to allow practice of these concepts during the summer months.  Students who have struggled with mathematics could benefit from a structured home-study math program. “Math Express” is a web-based program with 3 study options.

Target audience:  Students who have completed grade 5 through those taking Geometry.

Principals, teachers, counselors, and parents have requested a “summer science packet” for students who have decided to accelerate their science learning.  Many students have accepted the challenge to try an advanced science course in the fall, skipping seventh grade content.  The “Summer Science Pathway Program” is a web-based program divided into four units of study and a supplemental lab packet.
