What is the status of improvements to Swinehart and Runkel Fields?
The Swinehart Field is on schedule to be opened for the fall athletic season. A community wide open house/dedication for the improvements is scheduled for Sunday, August 23 beginning at 6 p.m. For more information on the improvements, please see this link.
The improvements to Runkel Field are scheduled to begin immediately following the end of the fall season. The improvements are scheduled to be completed for the fall season of 2028. Games scheduled during that period will be relocated to neighboring facilities while construction takes place (similar to what occurred at Swinehart Field). The location of those relocated games will be announced as we get closer to the development of the overall conference schedule. Renderings of the improvements will be shared when we break ground on the improvements.
