Henry Ford II student artist honored nationally for photography

A 2024 Henry Ford II graduate has been honored nationally for photography as being among the top eight percent of the entries in this year’s Scholastic Arts and Writing competition.

Jaden Rosenberg earned a silver medal for his work “Fenced,” which also earned a top award at a regional competition.

Rosenberg’s work will now be published in the online gallery at artwriting.org and placed in Yearbook 2024, a companion to annual art and writing anthologies published by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers.

Rosenberg’s work placed among the top 2500 entries out of the 340,000 pieces of work submitted by students from across the country.

The competition was judged by “some of the foremost leaders in the visual and literary arts for excellence in originality, skill, and the emergence of a personal voice or vision,” said Christopher Wisniewski, executive director of the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers.

Rosenberg’s teacher is Henry Ford II art instructor Marco Palombo.
