UCS bands are superior!
All four Utica Community Schools high school bands have once again taken top honors at a recent regional competition
Eisenhower, Henry Ford, Utica, and Stevenson bands received the top Division 1 (Superior) ratings from judges at the annual Michigan School Band & Orchestra Association (MSBOA) District 16 Marching Band Festival.
The adjudicators judged the band in the categories of marching, music, and general effect.
All four high school bands will perform their half-time shows.
The bands performed their halftime and BandARama shows:
- Falcon Marching Band – Game Night in Detroit
- Chieftain Marching Band – Marching Through the 2000s
- Eagle Marching Band – Sunny Side Up
- Titan Marching Band – “Dual” of the Fates
UCS bands are under the direction of Brett Bays, of Utica High School; Brad Arnold, of Eisenhower High School; Matthew Schoenherr, of Henry Ford II High School; and Mike Yaros, of Stevenson High School.
