UCS students named among top regional artists
More than 10 Utica Community Schools students were honored as among the best student artists in southeast Michigan and the thumb regions.
UCS students were honored from among more than 4,500 entries in 11 Michigan counties, including Oakland, Macomb and Wayne.
The Scholastic Arts Competition is a national program that honors the best in student-produced art. The work is adjudicated with 14 UCS works selected for Honorable Mentions, Silver or Gold Key Awards.
