Good afternoon Titan community,
It’s hard to believe that we have almost made it to the end of the 3rd marking period. Thank you to the parents who scheduled and completed almost 600 conference sessions at our winter Parent Teacher Conferences. I hope that you were able to meet new teachers, discuss ways to collaborate to help your student seek and find new opportunities and had a great evening. Please keep this communication on going. Our students need to finish the school year strong. PowerSchool is a great tool to stay on top of your students’ academic progress as well as their attendance. The 3rd quarter ends on March 22 and report cards will be posted in PowerSchool on April 4. Progress Reports will be posted on May 3. The 4th quarter ends on June 7 and final report cards will be posted in Powerschool on June 14.
Yearbooks
The yearbook staff has ordered 100 extra 2024 yearbooks. If you have yet to purchase your copy, you can still reserve one of these. Just fill out the attached yearbook sales form and return with payment to Room A-2 with check (made out to Stevenson) or cash. Forms and payment can also be mailed to the school or given to the receptionist to put in Ms. Pantano's mailbox. Yearbooks may also be purchased on PaySchool. Yearbook sales forms are also in the Stevenson newsletter.
First come, first served. Don't miss out on preserving your year in Titan history. Your children and grandchildren will thank you. Questions: Contact Ms. Pantano at paula.pantano@uticak12.org
COLLEGE AND CAREERS PATHWAY EVENT
Next week is our College and Careers Pathway Event. We have over 70 colleges, universities, and trade schools attending. It will be held at Henry Ford II.
A list of the attending post-secondary institutions can be found on the UCS Webpage - Academics - College and Career Readiness - College Central
Most colleges and universities have purchased a product called Strive Scan. This tool is used at college fairs to receive student provided information electronically. This process prevents students from standing at the booth and filling out an information card for the post-secondary institution to follow up with additional information.
Students should register through this site, prior to attending this event. Once students register using the link or QR code below, they will be provided with a text message with a QR code. If a student is interested in sharing their information with one of the attending institutions, they will provide the QR code to the representative.

Scholarship Opportunities for Seniors
Mr. Cucchi has established a $1000 scholarship for any senior who is pursuing a post-secondary educational program (trade school, community college or 4-year university). Please see the Titan Voice or the Class of 2024 tab at the top of the Stevenson website for all the details.
The 2024 Superintendent’s Scholarship is now live and accepting applications through Monday, March 11. Here is the link to the scholarship: https://www.uticak12.org/scholarship. You can find a copy of the flyer in the Titan Voice.
IMPORTANT – We have now added a Counseling tab on our website! Be sure to check it out!
At the top of the Stevenson website are tabs for each grade level. The information is updated with crucial information as soon as we receive it. Please check these tabs prior to calling or emailing the office. You will find the answers to most of your questions. See below for a copy of what the ribbon looks like.
Marching Band
It is that time of year again. The Titan Marching Band is getting ready to start planning their 2024-25 season! Please share our upcoming kick-off meeting information with students in your school and programs.
At this meeting, we will be discussing how the entire Stevenson Instrumental Music Program works and what we can offer your student. See the flyer in the Titan Voice for more information.
Stevenson Hall of Fame
The Stevenson Athletic Booster Club is excited to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the 2024 Stevenson Athletic Hall of Fame.
This nomination period will close on March 31, 2024.
Nominations will be reviewed by our Elector Committee and those who are selected for induction will be notified later this year.
We look forward to seeing everyone again at Stevenson’s Performing Arts Center on September 26, 2024, when we induct our second class into the Stevenson Athletic Hall of Fame.
Please visit 2024 Stevenson Athletic Hall of Fame Nomination Form to submit your nomination. Additionally, you can stay updated on the Hall of Fame and current Stevenson Athletics by following “Stevenson High School Athletic Booster Club” on Facebook or by visiting out website.

Congratulations Titans!
Congratulations to Rochelle Ferris! She qualified to go to the bowling state finals at Thunderbowl Lanes.
On Tuesday February 28, the tradition of taking our Level 2 EL/Content Literacy 2 students to observe the Citizenship Ceremony since the Pandemic continues. Since the students did not have the opportunity to go last year the EL/Content Literacy 3 students who had studied Government and Citizenship in Level 2 also joined on this field trip. They met with The District Judge Honorable Brandy McMillion and Macomb County Executive, Mark A. Hackel. Two of our Ukrainian students, Diana Dorosh and Svitlana Kisil lead the Pledge of Allegiance with 2 other students from Lakeview High School.
Wednesday, March 6 was signing day at Stevenson. Congratulations to our Titans who are going on to play college sports.
Another reminder is that students are expected to be in school on time. Parking Permits may be suspended for the following reasons:
❖ Excessive unexcused absences or tardies
❖ Careless or reckless driving
❖ Persistent disciplinary issues
Please continue checking the Stevenson website and Titan Voice for flyers for more information regarding important dates and information, counseling updates, and school and district happenings. This information is updated frequently.
Don’t forget to change your clocks this weekend! Daylight savings 2024: time to reset your clocks and spring forward!
With Titan Pride,
Kenneth L. Cucchi III
