Dear Browning Parents of Kindergarten, First and Sixth Grade Students,

Update on iPad and laptop collection.

1) Kindergarten students will have their iPads collected on Friday, June 6th. Please KEEP the chargers at home. The devices will be updated over the summer and returned to students in the fall.

2) 1st grade students will have their iPads AND chargers collected on Thursday, June 5th. They will get laptops in 2nd grade.

3) 6th grade students will have their laptops AND chargers collected on Monday, June 9th. They will get new devices in 7th grade.

Hi Browning Families,

1) 3rd time's a charm. Field day has been rescheduled for next Wednesday, June 4th. If you've volunteered and plan on being here, you don't have to do anything. If you can't make it next Wednesday or have any questions, please email our gym teacher, Mrs. Andras at kourie.andras@uticak12.org

2) Browning school hours will be changing a bit next year. We are a late school and our start and end times have been pushed back 5 minutes. I'm also including the secondary school start and end times as an FYI. Please check our UCS website for hours for other programs.

Hi everyone,

1) With the Field Day weather expected to be rainy and cold (high of 56) this Thursday, we are rescheduling the event to next Wednesday, May 28th. The long range forecast is for partly sunny and 70, which is so much better. :-).

Dear Parents of Browning Fifth Grade Students,

It's time to think about 6th course options for your child. I spoke to them this afternoon and went over the choices and the process for signing up. It's easy and straightforward.

Please open the letter below and follow the link towards the bottom of the first page and discuss the options with your child. The students said they pretty much know which classes they want in 6th grade :-).

Due date is May 23rd, but we're hoping you and your child will get it done by the end of this week so we can plan next year's schedule accordingly.

Hi Browning,

Browning PTA's annual Fun Fair is next Friday, May 16 from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. The students love it and it's a great family night out. We are short of volunteers and without them, the event won't be as much fun. Please look at your calendar and if you, your neighbor, other family members can help, please sign up for an event of your choice.

As an incentive to get volunteers, one free student punch card ($10 value) for each volunteer.

Hi Browning,
As the end of the year approaches, there are many activities and events to share with our community. We don't want our 'Bear' families to miss out on the fun. :-)

1) Reminder this Friday morning we have Pastries with Parents beginning at 8:00 in the gym. Always a great event. Free breakfast and a chance to see your neighbors and your child's friends.

2) Next week is teacher appreciation week. There are two attachments below. One is the roster of all the teachers at Browning and the second is a blank sheet for your children to write/draw/color a note to any of their favorite teachers.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Friday morning.

1) Our PTA is hosting a Detroit Tigers Day at the Park on June 8th. It's an afternoon game against the Cubs, and the children can run the bases after the game. Tickets range in price from $29 to $60 with $5.00 of every ticket coming back to Browning.

2) Cranbrook Science Fair coming to Browning on Thursday, April 24th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. They bring in some really cool things for our students to enjoy. Please see flyer below.

3) District Art Show May 13-15, 2025 at Sterling Heights Community Center - mark your calendars and come see the talent in UCS.

4) No school - Friday, April 18th
