Hello Browning Families,
Please take a few minutes to read the information below:
1) Monday 4/29 is a Spirit Day - we are asking our students to wear Browning Gear. ex: the navy 'paw' shirt or any other Browning clothing.
2) We are having a Positive Behavior Support assembly with Motivational Speaker and children's book author - Basketball Jones. See attached flyer for ordering some of his books.
3) I think our Browning Teachers are the best!! The week of May 6-10 is Teacher Appreciation Week - see attached 'Shoutout" flyer. Let them know they deserve districtwide recognition by sharing at ucs@uticak12.org

The last two weeks on morning announcements our students have heard the announcer say, "NED is coming". They're like, who is NED? The will finally get a chance to see NED (shhh , it's a motivational assembly) on Monday, April 15 at 9:30.
Part of their "pay if forward" philosophy is they will not charge us money. Instead, we will conduct a yo-you sale the next two weeks and any money we raise at Browning will go to fund the assembly for another school. A school did it for Browning and it's our turn to 'pay it forward'. Love the concept. Please see flyer below for details.

Report cards are being shared through a secure method using your parent PowerSchool account. The file can only be accessed through a web browser, such as Edge, Chrome or Safari. Please note that the link is not available through the PowerSchool App.

We are partnering with Cranbrook to offer a super cool Science Night to our Browning students and their families on 4/11 from 6-8p.m. We sent an invite last week with the students and I'm sending it again (also in different languages so everyone is welcomed).
In addition, our families will receive a surprise gift to take home with them.

Hello Browning Families,
Tomorrow is March 1st and that means March is Reading Month is upon us. We have lots of terrific events and activities supporting the importance of reading. Please see calendar of events.

Bring your comfy pajamas, blanket, and pillow and enjoy the movie with your friends and neighbors. Our National Elementary Honor Society will be selling treats to support their initiatives this year. Dear Browning Parents,
Please sign up for a time that you can volunteer for this year's Penguin Patch Holiday Shop (Signup Genius link below). This event is one that the kids really look forward to every year and we cannot do it without your help. Please make sure you are able to stay the whole time that you sign up for.
You need to have completed a volunteer form this year (see attachment) and have it turned into the office at least a week before the event in order to volunteer. Each year a new volunteer form has to be filled out.
