      • Device Insurance  The window to purchase insurance closed on September 6th, 2024. A list will be kept in the main office and if insurance is to be used*, parents will be contacted via the email address(es) found in PowerSchool.

        Student Device Insurance Plan and Cost

        *Students/Families who did not purchase device insurance will receive an invoice for the cost of repair when the student brings a damaged device to our attention.

        Any questions regarding damaged devices, fees, or anything related to the laptops and chargers, can be addressed by Mrs. Suhy in our Media Center.

      • Chargers  Every student receives a device charger to use with the school laptop deployed to them. The chargers are numbered and signed out to each incoming student.  This is the only charger that is to be used with the UCS device as the device is UCS owned.  Please do not use any other charger with the device.

        If a student damages or loses the charger, a $38 replacement fee will be applied to the PowerSchool account. Chargers are not covered by Device Insurance. 

        To avoid misplacing a charger while at school, students should charge the laptops each night to be ready for the following school day.
